All right, so you know how when you load your Gmail account and right before it takes you there, you'll come to a screen that will say at the top, "Loading [email address], and right beneath that there will be an empty bar that fills up as it loads?  And how when the bar is filled you come into your gmail account?

Right, so for whatever reason, for the past few days, almost without fail, each time there is always this tiny bit of blank space left in the loading bar, and it just gets stuck there.  I don't get into my gmail account.  Instead, I have to hit refresh.  Sometimes it works after a time or two, but sometimes I need to hit refresh twenty or thirty times.  It's extremely annoying.  I had hoped this was some sort of glitch that would work itself out after a few days, but it hasn't.  I ran a virus scan yesterday, but that doesn't seem to have helped.

Almighty Internet, can you help me?

ETA: If necessary, I can get into the account just fine by using the basic HTML, but the HTML for Gmail is awful.  I'd like full access if possible.

I've never encountered any problems like this with my gmail accounts, but I use another application to access it. Have you considered using a program like Outlook or Thunderbird to pull your email out? I use Thunderbird, which is free, and have never had any problems with it.

Also, here's a page to help troubleshoot Google mail loading problems: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=8767

How's your web browsing? Loading Gmail takes some bandwidth so it might be an issue with your ISP.

Need more browser information to come up with suitable solutions.

However have you tested going into the HTML, logging out and then trying the normal without closing your broswer?
