Warren Lapine has announced on his blog that each issue RoF will be devoting one page of free advertising to the small press and semipro magazines in the sf/f/h genre.  Yes, free.  No, I mean it.  Free.  Yeah, I know!  If you'd like to take him up on this offer you can find all the details here.

I have a request in regards to the ROF promotional giveaway (and yes, we still have copies left): please, please, PLEASE do not wait to pass along your mailing address after signing up.  Since most people are using user names when commenting on my blog and I have no idea who you really are, it becomes very confusing when I have no information about you.  If you've signed up, please post or LJ mail your mailing address to me when you sign up.  Don't wait.  DO IT IMMEDIATELY.  Make my life easier and ensure you'll receive your copy.  If you're having any kind of trouble, just email me instead: slushmaster@gmail.com.  And if you don't have an LJ account but would like to sign up and blog elsewhere, you can also email me directly.

If I don't get a mailing address or at the very least a name, I can't guarantee you a copy when everything is all said and done.  In other words, failure to provide addresses when you sign up=no promises!  Don't do this piecemeal.  It's killing me!

Warren and I are running a special promotional giveaway in anticipation of Realms of Fantasy's first issue back.  Warren is willing to give out up to 200 copies of the August 2009 issue.  The first 200 people to reply will receive a copy.  In return, when you receive the issue, we want you to read and blog about it as soon as possible.

Each person can receive no more than one copy.  If you'd like a copy, simply state in the comments thread that you'd like a copy.  Leave your name and mailing address as well.  If you'd prefer not to leave your name & mailing address where everyone can read it, please use the LJ email to send it to me privately.  Please do not wait to send your mailing address at a later time after asking for a copy.  Failure to follow these instructions could result in you not receiving an issue.  If you don't have an LJ account (or encounter technical difficulties with LJ mail) but would like to blog for an issue, email me: slushmaster@gmail.com.  This giveaway will run until 6/15/09.
