Off to New Paltz

So tomorrow I'm off to the Fantastic Genres Conference in New Paltz.  Along with the Slush God--assistant editor of F&SF--and Chris Cevesco--publisher/editor of Paradox--I'll be lecturing to some of John Langan's students.  John Langan is a regular contributor to F&SF and one of the organizers of the conference.  The lecture will be on Friday afternoon.  Friday night I'll be doing my first speculative reading.  I'll be reading "The Song That Binds."  The requested rewrite to this story is currently sitting on the e-desk of Edmund Schubert, the editor for Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show.  On Saturday I'm supposed to be sitting on the panel, BREAKING INTO PRINT: HOW I DID IT.  However, it's a three person panel, and one of the panelists, Amy Tibbetts, won't be attending the conference because she's come down sick.  So as far as I know, things are up on the air about this panel.

I'll try to give a report of some sort upon my return.  Later.
